Minutes spent deciding per day
70
Hours spent deciding per week
8.2
A rough estimate for reflection — exact time per decision varies a lot in practice.
A calculator that shows how much time per day and per week you spend on small decisions, like what to wear, what to eat, or which message to answer first. It suits people who end the day mentally drained without knowing why and want a concrete number for that feeling before they simplify their routine.
You enter how many small decisions you make per day and the average minutes each takes. The tool multiplies the two numbers to get daily minutes, then multiplies by 7 and divides by 60 to reach weekly hours. Negative results are treated as zero. The calculation measures time only, not the mental strain of each choice. The result is meant for reflection, not a verdict.
Picture 35 small decisions a day at 2 minutes each. That is 70 minutes daily. Over a week, 70 x 7 = 490 minutes, about 8.2 hours, roughly a full working day. Standardizing breakfast and picking the week's outfits ahead of time, for instance, could shrink that total.
This is a rough estimate built on your own guesses. It does not measure mental fatigue or prove that making many decisions causes exhaustion. It is not a psychological or medical assessment.
