Review the basic points of digital security, one by one. Your progress is saved on this device.
An interactive checklist to review the basics of your digital security across three areas: accounts, devices, and online habits. It is for people who never stopped to check their passwords, updates, and privacy settings and want a simple 12-item roadmap instead of scattered advice. Tick what you already do and watch your progress.
The 12 items sit in three sections of four: accounts (unique passwords, a password manager, two-factor authentication, reviewing connected apps), devices (lock screen, updates, backups, caution on public Wi-Fi), and online habits (social privacy settings, suspicious links, sharing personal info, breach checks). Each ticked box updates the completed counter. Your progress is saved on your own device. You can reset the list at any time to start over.
A typical use: you open the list and tick lock screen, updates, and unique passwords, which you already do. The counter reads 3 of 12. The unticked items, like two-factor authentication and breach checking, become your weekend to-do list. Once everything is ticked, a completion message appears.
This is a roadmap of basic good practices, not a security audit or a guarantee of protection. Threats change often, and situations like handling sensitive work data may need extra measures. Saved progress applies only to this browser and device.

Digital infrastructure increasingly sits beneath ordinary life and becomes visible when it fails.
You do not need to replace an entire home network to begin. A phone, comparable tests and small placement changes can reveal the weakest points. First find where the weakness occurs, then choose the least complicated change that addresses it.
A sensible security strategy protects identity, money and files without making ordinary tasks impossible. The key is identifying relevant threats and applying appropriate layers of protection. Security is a continuing process of prevention, detection and recovery, not permanent immunity.
