A small daily number adds up fast — see what your daily screen hours really mean over a year.
Hours per week
21 hours
Hours per year
1095 hours
Equivalent in days per year
46 days
This is just a total-time calculation — it doesn't judge whether your screen use is good or bad, that depends on what you do with it.
This calculator turns the vague idea of "a couple of hours on my phone" into hard numbers. Enter how many hours a day you spend on screens and see the weekly total, the yearly total, and how many full days that adds up to. It suits anyone curious about their habits, parents thinking about their kids' usage, or people planning to cut back.
The math is straightforward. The tool takes your daily hours and multiplies by 7 for the weekly total, then by 365 for the yearly total. It then divides the yearly hours by 24 to show how many complete 24-hour days that equals. Negative entries are treated as zero. There is no weighting by device or activity type, just plain arithmetic on the number you provide.
Say you spend 5 hours a day on screens. That is 35 hours a week (5 x 7) and 1,825 hours a year (5 x 365). Divide by 24 and you get about 76 full days a year, more than two months of non-stop screen time with no sleep or meals. Seeing it that way makes the weight of the habit clearer.
This is a total-time calculation, not a judgment: it does not say whether your screen use is good or bad, since that depends on what you do with it (work, study, leisure). Treat it as a starting point and check real usage in your device's own reports.

Digital infrastructure increasingly sits beneath ordinary life and becomes visible when it fails.
You do not need to replace an entire home network to begin. A phone, comparable tests and small placement changes can reveal the weakest points. First find where the weakness occurs, then choose the least complicated change that addresses it.
