Once a week: 5 things worth your time.
1 story, 1 idea, 1 discovery, 1 tool, 1 book.
No idea for the next date? Pick your preferences and generate a suggestion.
These ideas are general suggestions — adapt them to your area's availability and weather.
Out of ideas for your next date? Pick a budget and whether you want to stay in or go outside, and the tool draws a date night suggestion for you. It suits couples stuck in a dinner-and-TV routine who want something new without hours of searching.
You choose a budget, either low, medium or high, and a setting, either indoor or outdoor. The tool takes its fixed list of 16 ideas, filters those matching both choices and randomly draws one when you click generate. Each click can bring back a different suggestion. The list covers all three budget levels, both indoors and outdoors, and the draw happens right on the page, sending nothing anywhere.
Choosing a low budget and an outdoor setting leaves three options on the list: a picnic in a park, a sunset walk, or stargazing. The tool draws one of them, and clicking again may bring up another. Each combination holds several options. The draw changes on every click.
Suggestions come from a short, fixed list drawn at random, with no regard for your city, weather, tastes or schedule. What counts as a low, medium or high budget is up to you. Treat each idea as a starting point to adapt.
