A starting point for your moving budget, based on an hourly rate you look up in your own market.
This tool has no built-in price table — it uses the hourly rate you enter, researched from movers in your own area, and estimates an hours-per-room range. That keeps the result tied to your actual market instead of assuming one fixed price that doesn't hold everywhere.
Estimated range
$220 – $340
Based on 3 to 6 hours of labor, plus the extra fees you entered.
This is a rough estimate for early planning, not a quote. Get real quotes from at least two moving companies before deciding.
The moving cost calculator estimates what you might spend on moving help, based on the number of rooms and the hourly rate you were quoted. It suits anyone who wants a low-to-high range before calling moving companies, with extra fees such as stairs, insurance or packing added on top.
You enter how many rooms are being moved, the crew's hourly rate and a total for extra fees. The tool assumes 1 to 2 hours of work per room. The low figure is rooms × 1 hour × hourly rate + fees; the high figure uses 2 hours per room. Because the hourly rate comes from you, the math works in any currency and city, with no built-in price table.
A 3-room move, a crew at 80 per hour and 150 in extra fees. Hours: 3 to 6. Low: 3 × 80 + 150 = 390. High: 6 × 80 + 150 = 630. So your planning range is 390 to 630, which you can compare with the real quotes you receive.
The 1-to-2-hours-per-room rule is a simplification: distance, stairs, furniture volume and fragile items change the time a lot. Treat the result as a planning reference and ask for quotes with a site visit.

A home can become mentally heavy when small unfinished items accumulate: a bill, a repair, an empty pantry item, a task nobody owns. A 15-minute weekly reset gives these loose ends a place to land.
A default place for everyday objects reduces clutter, searching and repeated micro-decisions.
Home energy efficiency describes the service obtained — lighting, cooling, heating or preservation — relative to the energy used. Saving electricity should never require sacrificing safety or quality of life.
