Once a week: 5 things worth your time.
1 story, 1 idea, 1 discovery, 1 tool, 1 book.
Review format, content and contact info before you send your resume. Your progress is saved on this device.
An interactive checklist for reviewing your resume before sending it out. It is meant for job seekers who want to check format, content, contact details and a final proofread, catching small slips like a casual email address or a file named 'resume final v3' that can quietly weaken an application.
The items are grouped into four blocks: format, content, contact and final review. You tick each one as you verify it against your own document, and a counter shows how many are done out of the total. There is no score or formula. Progress is saved on this device, so you can stop and come back, and the reset button clears everything when you want to review a different version of your resume.
Say you are applying for an analyst role. You open the checklist, confirm the font and spacing are consistent, replace a nickname-style email with a professional address, add your LinkedIn link and export the file as a PDF. When you tick the last item, a message confirms the resume has been reviewed.
The checklist gathers general good practice and does not guarantee interviews or passing automated screening. Companies and countries have their own format preferences, so adapt the items to the role and the job market where you are applying.
