Offer A
$15,923
Offer B
$10,381
This is a simplified estimate — it doesn't replace carefully reading the full offer, including each benefit's terms and eligibility.
A comparator that puts a money value on the non-salary parts of two job offers. It is for people choosing between offers who want to see how much health coverage, retirement match, paid time off and other perks add up to each year on top of base pay.
For each offer you enter annual salary, monthly health insurance value, retirement match percent, paid days off and other perks per month. The yearly benefit value adds up: health insurance x 12, plus salary x the match percentage, plus paid days off x the daily rate (salary divided by 260 workdays), plus other perks x 12. Each offer gets its own total so you can compare them directly.
Annual salary of 100,000, health insurance of 400 a month, a 4% match, 20 paid days off and 100 a month in other perks. Health: 4,800. Retirement: 4,000. Time off: 20 x (100,000 / 260) = 7,692.31. Other perks: 1,200. Total annual benefits: 17,692.31.
This is a simplified estimate that assumes 260 workdays a year and relies on the values you type in. It ignores taxes, eligibility rules and contract clauses. Read the full offer before deciding; this is not financial advice.
